Tonight’s livetalk, titled “For the Love of Sailing,” has three outstanding guests. At 5:30 p.m., our Mauro Giuffrè and Rachele Vitello are face-to-face with Marco Trombetti, winner of the Owner’s Award at the Sailor of the Year for completing a round-the-world voyage on his Swan 65 Translated9, amidst a thousand difficulties and never giving up .
Along with him is Matteo Polli (Innovation award), the wizard of fast boats, the most successful designer of the past 10 years .
Closing out the parterre de roi are Manuel Vlacich and Franco Deganutti, in the Guinness Book of Records for sailing around the world on microboats, from LochNess to Titicaca via underground lakes, winners of the Passion award.
