Safety Tender 6.0 from Veleria San Giorgio, is the new catamaran tender that revolutionizes the world of inflatable cruise landing craft, and actually triples the space aboard a classic tender of equal size. It is 2.5meters long and is mologated to carry as many as 6 six people. Veleria San Giorgio, a historic company in Genoa known for producing life jackets, had Presented it as a novelty at the 62nd International Boat Show, now available on the market.

It is called Safety Tender 6.0 because the design with the open bow, allows for easy boarding or facilitates any recovery of the castaway. From the beach or the dock, boarding or disembarking from the bow is super easy even for children, or when you have heavy loads .
The central 1.8-meter-square platform is so spacious that it can accommodate up to six people. The catamaran structure makes it extremely stable and fast on the water. When not sailing, the two aluminum seating benches can be disassembled , and the trampoline becomes a platform on which to lie and sunbathe.
Ideal for short trips along the coast, landings, and transfers from the boat in calm or shallow seas, rowing or with outboards up to 4.4hp.

How it is built and how much space it takes up Safety Tender 6.0

2.50 meters long, 1.65 meters wide, weighs 48Kg. Approved 2013/53/EU CE0474 category D for transporting 6 people or a maximum load of 550Kg . Deflated and folded, it has dimensions of 135x50x35cm. With foot pump it is ready to sail in 10 minutes, less if inflated with electric pump.

Consists of 2 PVC tubes with a diameter of 40cm equipped with inflatable stabilizing fins. The tubulars are connected together by a high-pressure drop-stitch inflatable trampoline, to which an aluminum bench is added to make the structure even more rigid.
In total there are 4+3 inner tubes. The working pressure of the tubulars is 0.25 Bar. Inflation valves are standard bayonet type with retention and deflation button.

Motorization and special features

Safety Tender 6.0 can be powered by an outboard up to 4.4hp short-stemmed, with a maximum weight of 30Kg. Given the low resistance on water, it is the ideal tender for an electric outboard.

The transom is made of rigid plastic, equipped with a drain plug. On the deck we find in addition to the screw-down rowlocks with rotary joint, four inner handles at the top, and four outer handles, and four steel rings for rigging the tender on deck. On the sides of the tubulars are black protective fender bands.

The special accessories of Safety Tender 6.0

Safety Tender 6.0 has two optional special accessories to match the colors and logo. The must-have Safety Storage Bag, to be installed under the center bench, priced at 84Euro including VAT, and the optional 150N Aribag Slim self-inflating life belts for the crew, at 139Euro. Custom-made shade cloth is also available as an accessory.
