Top port, to discover Puglia and beyond
Brindisi is increasingly becoming a reference point for national and international boating.
The Brindisi Marina, increasingly appreciated by boaters for its location, quality and quantity of services offered, is now a reference point for all those who enjoy sailing the waters of the central-southern Adriatic. Between the island of Sant’Andrea and Forte a Mare Castle, it is easily accessible from the station and the airport. Safety, quality services and assistance summarize “one brand, one standard” philosophy of Marinedi, a network of ports of which Brindisi is a member. The efforts made have led to encouraging results that have had obvious spin-offs in terms of employment, both for annuals and for boaters in transit. Recognition also achieved internationally with the confirmation of the Five Anchors, the Blue Flag and the agreement with the German nautical portal ADAC Skipper. And then the sporting events. The Brindisi-Corfu and Brindisi-Valona regattas were joined by the VELA Cup and sailing championships aiming at inclusion, such as those organized by GV3 last June and April. Finally, Snim, the Puglia Boat Show. “Brindisi continues on its path and becomes more and more a reference point for national and international yachting,” explains Marina di Brindisi President Claudio Gorelli. CEO, Dario Montanaro, adds, “We invite everyone to come to the Brindisi Marina, but to ensure optimal reception and organization, we suggest using our qualified reservation system. Even for summer 2025, 97 percent of the berths are in fact already booked. An achievement that rewards us and encourages us to do better and better.”
