The dream of being able to count on clean, silent and always available energy wherever you are, in roadstead, in port or in the middle of the sea, with no more need for noisy, bulky and polluting gasoline generators is closer. As of today, in fact, it is possible to take advantage of Voltab, the first 100% electric portable generator designed and manufactured in Italy, designed also for the nautical world.

The characteristics of Voltab
It looks like one of those ultra-technological folding carbon catwalks, and indeed this object is a concentrate of technology and design. Compact (little bigger than a briefcase), light(19 kg) and powerful(4.2 kW of power and 3.1 kWh of capacity), it is built entirely in Italy from recycled materials and provides an unthinkable autonomy for its size. And thanks to its two integrated wheels, mobility is total: you take it where you need it, effortlessly. A few examples to get you thinking about what you can power with a Voltab:
- a food truck for 3/6 hours
- a home refrigerator for 20 hours
- Total autonomy for an RV (and thus similar to a boat) for over a day and a half
- 30 km range for an electric car
But the real quantum leap is that Voltab is quiet, emission-free and offers up to 80 percent savings in operating costs compared to conventional generators. It is available in two versions: one with dual Schuko outlets to power any device, the other(Voltab EV) with also a Type 2 outlet, capable of charging electric vehicles anywhere, even in the absence of infrastructure.
Designed for boating, mobile workers, outdoor and camping enthusiasts, and those who want reliable power even during blackouts, VOLTAB can already be ordered on the official voltab.energy website at an introductory price of 2,399 euros (instead of 2,999) for the first 100 units, with deliveries by September.
