Explore the archive of Historic Classic Boats, the registry of Cult Models of Sailing
Let’s start with the basics: the archive of the Classic Historic Boats is, in essence, a huge registry of excellent projects. Built up over the years, this aims to contain and tell the story of hundreds and hundreds of hulls, presenting their history, images, data and market values, including those increased by certified historicity. From alpa to Zuanelli, then, so many construction sites and projects are contained within, thus offering a place of research and testimony, useful for any enthusiast as well as for those who want to buy a classic, and want to get a feel for it. But, and most importantly, it is a space of memory, to pass on the true value that each individual project has brought to the sailing world. Ed is usable by every member of the Classic Boat Club!

Historic Classic Boat Archives – How it works
How the archive of the Historic Classic Boats? It’s as simple as that, just log on to the Classic Boat Club and click on the name of the archive. Here, immediately below the header, over 300+ boats will be usable by you scrolling down the page. Clicking on each one will open its tab, and that’s it.

Historic Classic Boat Archives – Usability
To make browsing more interesting, however, we decided to index each individual item in the tabs. Using filters, it is thus possible to group boats in an ad hoc manner, improving the use of the archive with respect to individual needs. Here, in addition to alphabetical or registry sorting, you can also explore the entire archive by organizing it by length, rather than by individual phases, and thus years, decades and so on.
Exploring it through designers and/or yards becomes equally useful. Thus, an entire production, whether by Frers, say, or by Swan, will be included on the single page, offering an overview of how the production, or the design philosophy of the individual designer, or the yard, have evolved. Finally, the free search allows you to experiment a bit in every way, bypassing any filter and going in the direction you most want.
Be careful, however, the archive is constantly being updated. So don’t be too surprised if you don’t find your boat. You can always submit it as a suggestion by writing to the Classic Boat Club editorial staff!
