Italian sailboats 2024: 15 m – Solaris 50 / Solaris Yachts

This 50-footer is one of those boats that when you walk by the dock and see it, you just naturally stop, look at it and say, “What a boat!”
Elegant in the simplicity of its lines and in the well-chosen design of the deckhouse, it conceals at first glance what are instead the substantial innovations of this new model from the Italian shipyard, a leader in the “premium” fast cruiser segment. DISCOVER MORE.
12,98 m –
IY 12.98
/ Italy Yachts

Italia Yachts is a shipyard that has specialized since its origins in building boats dedicated to sport cruising. Racing is also in the shipyard’s DNA, and the 998 and 11.98 in particular have been very successful boats for the ORC racing world as well. The Italia Yachts 12.98, designed by Studio Cossutti, is one of the latest models to come out on the market, dedicated to the world of sport cruisers, and offered in Fuoriserie (for those who also enjoy racing) and Bellissima (for those who want a more finished boat inside) versions. ICE 70 RS0

13,40 m –
Grand Soleil 44
/ Cantiere del Pardo

The goal of designer Matteo Polli, making his debut with Cantiere del Pardo, was to create a boat that was efficient in a wide range of weather conditions and also performed well in complex situations such as those defined as “choppy,” or short wave. The result is a boat with a clearly sporty aesthetic, with some stylistic “signatures” typical of Grand Soleil (the deckhouse in particular) and others characterized by the designer’s interpretation of regulations such as the stern high above the water.
20 m –
Advanced A66
/ Advanced Yachts

Can you improve a boat that experts say is as perfect as the Advanced A66? The answer is yes, you can. The new Advanced A66S (20.46 x 5.40 m) has added an S to the initials and dozens of improvements to this boat, a true symbol of “made in Italy.” The comparison is with the Porsche 911, which has been continuously improved for decades but still remains itself. The concept applied by Advanced is the same: improve without distorting.
