Take the
Marina di Brindisi
, one of the best-served and most conveniently accessible marinas in southern Italy, and put more than 250 boats on display there. The result can only be a success. And in fact that is exactly what happened at the latest edition – the 19th – of the
Apulia Boat Show
, which was attended by more than 20,000 visitors from all over Italy.
In Brindisi over 250 boats and more than 20 thousand visitors
The proximity to the Genoa Boat Show did not discourage attendance; on the contrary, it encouraged enthusiasts to visit an event that now has an international character, thanks in part to the sponsorship of Confindustria Nautica and Lega Navale Italiana. And so during the five days of the show, from October 11 to 15, more than 20,000 people crowded the docks of the Brindisi Marina, not only to see the boats on display. They were certainly-along with nautical accessories-the absolute stars, with more than 250 examples signed by about a hundred shipyards and national excellences, but Salone di Puglia also means a rich calendar of events. At the last SNIM, they discussed the development of the sea economy, sustainability and new green drives, nautical tourism for coastal enhancement, water sports, land promotion, training and job opportunities in the blue economy. A specific area of the show, the “Training Village” of the Department of the Apulia Region, where the training offer activated in Apulia was presented with interesting courses of study in the blue economy (also through ITS) and in full collaboration with large realities of the nautical sector such as Grimaldi, Ferretti, Fincantieri, Alis and Confindustria Nautica.
Apulia Boat Show – A Reference for the National Boating Industry
“In recent days,” says Apulia Boat Show President Giuseppe Meo, “we have seen great enthusiasm from all exhibitors who have confirmed the closing of important business negotiations. All of this, significantly more than in previous years. Which is a confirmation of the great work done over the course of a year by our company, which managed to bring to Brindisi the most significant realities of the sector and also some of the novelties that were proposed on the market and that immediately met with the approval of a particularly demanding clientele. Of course, now consideration of location will also be needed, as the availability of even more space will be needed wide.”
So see you again with the next edition in 2024, certain that boating, throughout Italy, from the South to the North via the Center, still has ample room for growth.
“We have already received important confirmations from leading companies in the industry in recent days,” added Meo, “and this pushes us forward with ever greater commitment. I hope that there will be the announced full support of all institutions, at every level, because we are really ready to aim for even greater achievements.”
