Boat shows have been an opportunity to show on the water, or present with the first digital previews, all the new sailboats that brands have been working on to meet the needs of a market that, having overcome the hangover of the post-Covid boom, has settled down to a more “normal” level of demand. This allows yards to be able to be quicker in delivering new sailboats, with many unreleased models also seeing the water by this late 2024 or early 2025. We have been analyzing the market with its most recent movements, starting today we offer a review in metric order of the new models already on the water or on the way. Here is the first installment, starting from 8.99 m to 12.60 m.
8.99 m – Sunbeam 29.1
The new Sunbeam 29.1 follows the path laid out two years ago with the launch of the 32-footer that amazed a little bit of everyone, featuring a cantilevered bow for more comfort on deck and an open-plan interior. On the Sunbeam 29.1 we find some of the styling elements already seen on its big brother, although here they have been slightly toned down. The goal, perfectly hit, was to make a small, modern, sporty cabin cruiser suitable for short cruises.
The design,as with the32feet, is a collaboration between Jerney Jacopin, who invented the Bavaria in the 1980s, and Austrian designer Gerard Kiska.

2025 sailboats – 10.80 m – RM 1080
TheRM 1080 is distinguished by its modern and functional design, inspired by ocean racing boats. The construction uses a combination of impregnated marine plywood for the hull and composite sandwich deck, ensuring not only strength and safety at sea, but also an environmentally friendly approach to shipbuilding. RM 1080 has a spacious and well-organized interior that is ideal for long voyages. The configuration can be customized to suit each owner’s needs, making this boat perfect for both solo adventures and trips with family and friends.

10.94 m – Sun Odyssey 350
The Sun Odyssey 350 is the entry-level of Jeanneau’s cruising range, a vessel with surprising internal volumes. The walk-throughs are “walkaround” and it has a backstay-less limb. Good performance, even in breezes.
The boat can be customized to fit to the owner’s program, and offers different keel versions: 1.98m, 1.49m or a draft with a pivoting keel. The Sun Odyssey 350 is also offered in a version with electric propulsion, available for coastal sailing.

11.93 m – Oceanis 37.1
The new Oceanis 37.1, with a sail plan without a backstay, has a large deckhouse that allows it to create XXL volume inside. The cockpit shrinks a bit, with the wheelhouses moving aft, where the backstay disappears instead.
All to make this 11-meter a true champion for interior space, ideal for those who want to take long vacations aboard.

2025 sailboats – 12.60 m – Stratos 43
The result of a collaboration with Studio Cossutti-Ganz Yacht Design, already the sole designer of the Bavaria sailing range, this will be the Polish shipyard’s first boat over 10 meters.
We can see a modern look to the hull, with a slightly inverted prow, integrated delphiniera, and a double luff, one of which is positioned at the top, near the foresail. A self-tacking jib is provided, as well as genoa carriages on the deckhouse, to have a low overlap but more powerful sail.
