Alessandro Comuzzi is an out-of-the-box designer, used to designing sport and weekender boats. Now comes the new the new C-40, a sailboat conceived from the start to ensure easy and efficient sailing even when sailing solo. The result of an entirely custom design, the boat was built Cantiere Navale De Cesari in Cervia to a design by Comuzzi Yachts Design. The great particularity of the C-40, along with others, is that it is built using the cedar strip planking technique, on a sturdy structure of marine plywood and mahogany, materials that enhance the construction tradition and elegance of wood.
C-40 – What a boat it is
It is not the classic boat that Comuzzi has accustomed us to, but this time we are talking about a real cruiser, albeit with a footprint that remains quite sporty.

One of the key features is the centralization of maneuvers on the steering console, allowing complete control of the boat from a single point, supported by two electric winches. Access from the cockpit to the deck has been redesigned through a system of ramps that eliminates any discontinuity, while a stern platform provides convenient access to the sea. The interior, designed to offer visual continuity and breadth, is developed in one large open space, with enclosed spaces limited to the guest cabin and bathroom, both located aft.
