It’s going to be a “hot” autumn for Ice Yachts, the volcanic Salvirola shipyard in fact has several projects on the launch pad, some already in the “operational” construction phase, others still in the design phase (such as the ICE 53 ST and 62 ST). At the Cannes Yachting Festival next September, the Italian shipyard specializing in custom and semi-custom fast cruisers, built in carbon, will present itself with two new entries: theICE64 Explorer and the Ice 70 RS.
Ice 64 Explorer

Designed for owners who wish to experience the sea without boundaries, theICE64 Explorer, 17.98 m long and 5.21 wide, is a full custom boat designed for ocean crossings, long-range exploration and extended stays aboard, even in the absence of shore-based infrastructure.
Made entirely of carbon composite with a rigid and lightweight structure, autonomy is its strong point: advanced energy systems, hybrid propulsion, integrated solar panels, rainwater harvesting, and optimized plumbing make it possible to live on board for weeks or months.
The interior layout is designed for long-term operating autonomy; in fact, the interiors are equipped with ample stowage, bright rooms, natural and durable materials. There is a crew cabin equipped with access to the engine room and workbench to also ensure easy maintenance on board.
The pride of the design are definitely the deck and cockpit superstructures, such as the integratedcarbon tender crane on the structural stern bows and thefull carbon hardtop with rainwater collection system and fully integrated 3 kW solar panels.
ICE70 RS

TheICE70 RS, 21.30 m long and 5.76 m wide, is the most advanced model in the sporty ICE Yachts range: a fast cruiser made for experienced owners who also want to compete on international circuits, without sacrificing elegance and comfort.
To ensure good performance while maintaining a draft that allows access even to shallow water marinas, the vessel is equipped with a sophisticated Cariboni lifting keel system, an absolute precision retractable keel that allows the draft to be adjusted from 2.75 m to 4.50 m.
The sail plan is generous and supported by a full carbon rig, with Park Avenue boom and Harken electric winches. The interior layout offers generous volumes, fine materials, and high-level fittings for long-range cruising.
