This year’s CNB Rendez-Vous sparkled on the beautiful Costa Smeralda, with Porto Rotondo as the home base! Imagine: 23 kick-ass CNBs and over 200 guests from all corners of the world, all there for three days of pure sailing, friendship and exclusive parties. A true celebration of passion for yachting, a party at sea you won’t forget!

CNB Rendez-Vous: spectacular racing among the islands of Sardinia

Enthusiasm was through the roof, as confirmed by Vincent Arnaud, CNB’s Commercial Director: ” Many yachts traveled from far and wide to join us and share these three incredible days of passion and fun. Racing among these beautiful islands is always a memorable experience “. The prestigious French brand CNB joined the Solaris Group in 2021, and this Rendez-Vous was the perfect showcase to showcase this powerful new union.

The regatta program kicked off Friday evening with a cocktail reception at the Porto Rotondo Yacht Club. Then, on Saturday and Sunday, it was off to breathtaking coastal racing in the Gulf of Porto Rotondo. On Saturday, two races under steady northeast winds (14-18 knots) were interspersed with a champagne break between races-a nice touch that combined competition and pure fun. On Sunday, in lighter breezes (about 12 knots), the fleet sailed a scenic loop around the Islands of li Nibani, located on the northeastern coast of Sardinia.

But the CNB Rendez-Vous is not just about regattas! The evenings were a riot of social events, culminating in a spectacular gala at the Sporting Hotel Porto Rotondo. Dinner, live concert, and a poolside DJ set kept everyone dancing until dawn! Sunday’s awards ceremony saw Vincent Arnaud, Philippe Briand (the CNB design genius) and Marc Giorgetti (the patron of Solaris) on stage: a trio symbolizing the continuity and future of the brand. Appointment then to 2026, for the tenth anniversary of the CNB Rendez-Vous.

A parade of superyachts to die for!

The fleet of 23 yachts was divided into two categories for super fair competition: Division A (Bordeaux 60 and CNB 66) and Division B (CNB yachts over 66 feet). Each boat, a true masterpiece!

The CNB 82 Simeron: the queen of the fleet.

Serving as the majestic and imposing flagship was Simeron, a CNB 82. Built back in 2004, this 24.99-meter (82-foot) giant is living proof of CNB’s timeless quality and design. A true classic that never wanes!

The new generation: the CNB 78s (Belles, Zampa and Beautiful Day).

Eyes on the brand new CNB 78 models-Belles, Zampa and Beautiful Day-the first in the new and series born from the marriage between Solaris and CNB. With this new bluewater cruiser, the shipyard wanted to improve upon without upsetting the very successful CNB 76 (an impressive 32 units sold!). The CNB 78 sports a slightly wider and more aggressive hull, with a double knee and a slimmer deckhouse. Its iconic deckhouse, designed by Philippe Briand, is now a trademark and gives the salon below deck a breathtaking panoramic view.

There is room in the cockpit for a dreamy lounging area. The interior? Thanks to the wider hull, they enjoy two huge guest cabins and a master cabin worthy of a 90-footer! All with en suite bathrooms, of course. The raised saloon offers a 360-degree view of the outdoors, a real treat. Aft, galley, utility rooms and a crew cabin for up to 3 people, with en suite bathroom.

Timeless elegance and performance: Bordeaux 60 and CNB 76 on the podium

Triplet for Expression of London, a CNB Bordeaux 60, produced since 2012 and now out of production. This sleek and elegant 18.60 m cruiser, designed to be easily maneuvered by a small crew or a family, has overwhelmed its division, proving that even after more than a decade, these boats are still competitive! And given the premise, anticipation is growing for the all-new CNB 62, of which the Bordeaux 60 is the predecessor, which will make its official debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival this September.

In Group B, victory instead went to Amouri, a CNB 76, produced from 2013 to 2024 and now out of production. Great result for this large cruiser-racer, confirming that luxury and performance can go hand in hand!
