The Circolo Nautico Porto Santa Margherita’s Cinquecento does not disappoint, this 2025 edition of the Adriatic super classic was also rich in insights and marked by non-trivial weather characterized by a fairly intense Scirocco.
The ninth leg of the Italian Sailing Federation’s Italian Offshore Championship and the Masserotti Uvai Trophy, the regatta is the oldest doubles competition in the Mediterranean-ideatedin Caorle half a century ago-and is run on the Caorle-Sansego-Tremiti Islands-Sansego route and back.
The first boat to cross the finish line was The Farr 53 QQ7, with a total time of 64h 30′ 24″, which also won the Super Atax Challenge Trophy.
All the winners of the Five Hundred

The overall ORC victory of La Cinquecento Trofeo Pellegrini 2025 in the X2 category goes to Colombre, Massimo Juris-Pietro Luciani’s JPK 10.80, happy with this result that rewards a long-standing understanding. The Venetian couple comments on the result thus upon reading the rankings “A good win by Colombre at the 500×2, we are happy. Over the years there has been no shortage of placings or class wins, but this is only the second time we have won the 500×2. With different boats, but both times with fresh winds. In this edition with a sustained sirocco the oceanic characteristics of our boat emerged, both upwind against formed waves and downwind with some nice glides. Experience and weather tactics did the rest. Congratulations to the crew of boat QQ7 for their success and thanks to the CNSM for organizing a true offshore regatta.”
Beautiful second place in ORC Overall for Demon-X of the pair Nicola Borgatello and Silvio Sambo in its 20th 500×2 and third place for Oryx of Paolo Bevilacqua-Michele Toffano, the first X2 boat to finish on Wednesday, June 4 at 19:49:50 and already winners of the Pellegrini Line Honour X2 Trophy and the Challenge of Victories Trophy.
Marco Rusticali-Riccardo Rossi’s Mr Hyde is the winner of the Leonardo Bronca Challenge Trophy dedicated to the best result of the youngest couple; the Romagna duo is fourth Overall and third in Class B-C.
In the Multihull class success for Austrians Christoph Nitsch-Andreas Kranzmayr on their Lightness, a self-built trimaran in a vibrant lime color.
In the Minis, an excellent performance for the Vicenza duo Davide Vicentini-Alessandro Ciscato on Playtime 2, who were not frightened even by a close sea encounter with an oil tanker.
The victory at the ORC compensated time calculation confirms the Overall XTutti category success of QQ7, Salvatore Costanzo’s Farr 53, first overall at the finish line on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 07:30:24 a.m. with a total time of 64h 30′ 24″, which also wins the Super Atax Challenge Trophy.
The Overall podium is completed by Be Wild Sail, Renzo Grottesi’s Swan 42 second to the finish line on Wednesday at 16:17:18 and Ior Super Atax of Padua’s Marco Bertozzi
