It is a 41-footer that Foutaine Pajot will present as a world premiere at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival, which opens its doors on September 9 in the beautiful setting of the French Riviera. We show you preview photos of the boat!
Renewal has begun
The new Fountaine Pajot 41 (12.10 x 6.92 m) will be the first boat of a new course for Fountaine Pajot, which, pressed by the demands of shipowners, will renew the range starting with this 41 (as Domenico Furci, head for Italy of the Fountaine Pajot Group and Dufour Yachts, told us in this interview).
The range of new boats, which will continue with a 44-footer, represents a significant evolution in the world of catamarans, in line with the shipyard’s latest innovations and offering a perfect balance between space, comfort and performance. The new Fountaine Pajot 41 is designed and dedicated to those who wish to experience the sea with greater freedom, combining all the main characteristics that distinguish the French shipyard, such as ergonomics or quality of materials.
Fountaine Pajot 41: this is what it looks like
Designed by Berret – Racoupeau Yacht Design, every detail of the new 41 is studied to optimize well-being and conviviality on board: the interior volumes are large and not claustrophobic even in the Quator 4 declination with four cabins and four bathrooms, dedicated to charters or large families. The available layouts, in fact, are more than one and designed according to the needs of the owners: starting from the Maestro 2 version with 3 cabins and 2 bathrooms and ending with the Quator 4 just described.
The salon houses a freestanding galley with a central island designed for ease of use even while underway and is directly connected to the cockpit by an opening of more than 2 meters; the outdoor area is enhanced by redesigned lounge areas and an optional fold-down bridge that doubles as a bathing platform; at the front, a lounging area also connected by a large opening serves as an ideal passageway to the interior salon, creating a welcoming and functional environment.
The new Fountaine Pajot 41 is a catamaran designed to sail with ease, and the hull, designed to optimize speed and stability, ensures smooth and comfortable sailing even in rough sea conditions.
The large sail area, combined with an efficient plan, allows for maximum utilization of wind power, while the two 20-hp engines (with the possibility of upgrading to 40-hp) ensure reliability and comfort in every situation. Through the use of recyclable materials and green production technologies, Fountaine Pajot once again proves to be environmentally conscious and, with the new range of boats, will be even more committed to providing low-impact boats, thanks to the use of solar panels and the possibility of requesting full electric propulsion.
