In this episode, we take you on a tour of Solaris, one of the iconic Italian-made shipyards.

Solaris Yachts since 1974

Among Solaris Group’s most significant innovations are the Solaris 74 RS, which was unveiled in May 2024 and has been a great success with 3 units already built and delivered, and the brand new Solaris 55, which was previewed at the January 2025 Boot Düsseldorf; it has been enthusiastically received, with the third unit launched as early as June 2025.

Founded in Aquileia in 1974, one of the historic capitals of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Solaris has established itself over the years as a benchmark in the construction of high-end boats, thanks to its build quality, excellent behavior at sea and constant attention to technology and detail. Since the first Solaris 36 designed by Franz Maas and unveiled in 1976, the shipyard has covered a 50-year path, during which it has built and launched more than 900 hulls, both sail and motor.

Twelve years after the entry of new ownership, Solaris has now become Solaris Group, a reality divided into four divisions, each targeting a specific segment of the market, but all united by a core value: excellence: Solaris Yachts, manufacturer of fast sailing cruisers from 40 to 80 feet, constantly renewed for an increasingly demanding clientele. CNB Yachts, acquired in 2021, specializing in blue water cruisers from 60 to 90 feet. Performance Boats, builder of hypertechnological sailing maxi-yachts up to 140 feet.

Solaris Power, manufacturer of powerboats, open and coupe, from 40 to 80 feet. These product lines express the Group’s desire to excel in every area, while maintaining the characteristics that have always distinguished it: seaworthiness, solidity, safety and, last but not least, comfort in navigation. This is the stylistic and technical hallmark of the Solaris Group, the hallmark that unites all its divisions and has led to its international success.
