Once again this year’s VELA Cup Cala dei Sardi was a triumph of sailing, passion and fun for all: more than 40 boats entered and many crews completed the splendid course between the islands of Soffi, Mortorio and Mortoriotto, with a Mistral that provided spectacle and adrenaline from the first to the last second. A compact start, and a sustained wind for the duration of the race, made the regatta engaging for both the most ambitious crews and cruisers making their absolute debut between the buoys! In the evening, as per tradition, all together on the sea-view lawn of the Marina Cala dei Sardi to celebrate the winners, the “lucky ones” who took home the raffle prizes, and all those who made this edition unique.
